I am a registered psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (#1999). I received my APA-accredited doctorate in clinical psychology in 2007 following a clinical internship at Washington State University. My dissertation was on the relationship between adult attachment styles and sexuality. I have held positions as senior psychologist for Cypress Health Region in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and associate psychologist with the Canadian Forces Health Services Centre (Pacific) in Esquimalt, BC. I serve as Adjunct Faculty with the University of Regina and University of Victoria, Clinical Psychology Programs. I am a full member of the British Columbia Psychological Association (BCPA) and Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
I am experienced in providing evidence-based psychological services to individuals, couples, groups in hospital, outpatient clinics, military, school, and private practice settings. I assess and treat a broad range of mental health concerns and have specialized training and experience in evidence-based treatments for post traumatic stress disorder. I also enjoy working with couples and have advanced training in the use of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
